This was an incredible sunrise shot at one of our many beautiful
State Parks. The colors on this particular morning where glorious.
It was such a peaceful morning, no crowds, a bit of a chill in the air.
The docks where a bit slippery, but worth inching my way out on them, no guardrails could have proven to be a rather chilly swim.
Springtime flowers in all their beauty, a gift from the love of my live,
can you feel the glow of our love radiating throughout this composition? I hope I captured that for you.
This was my romantic theme shot, the softness of a rose with
the combination of satin sheets gives this composition a sensual
feel.
A water lily, my need for spring to add a little color, finds me adding this beautful water lily to post. This shot has been processed using the orton method.

Shot in Myrtle Beach last summer, and it has made me feel warm again this winter. I can still remember standing there in my shorts and t-shirt, warm sand between my toes......the ocean breeze blowing gently......oh my....I think I need another trip to beach!!!

Grandma works endlessly in her garden, I know when she goes
to sleep at night, she closes her eyes, and dreams of the beauty her
garden holds....

This method is not for the faint of heart, and may not be appealing to everyone, but something about it for me is really interesting!
Twilight on the dock, okay not really on a bay, but it was a catchy title, what can I say????
This shot is of a nearly full moon hanging over the lake, this image is not a phoney creation of photoshop, but an image actually shot.
This sunset was shot in Guntersville, Alabama, I used a special processing method know as the the Orton Method to give it a dreamy look to it, this method it applied via photoshop, using duplicate layers of the same shot with different exposures, and using the gausian blur for the soft effect.
Shot this past summer, this golden sunrise has helped shake the cold off this winter, and help me feel bright after a nasty flu hit me.

This is part of Nectar Falls, in Alabama. A dramatic waterfall which is basically three waterfalls in one. This would be a close up shot of the lower falls.
This was shot in celebration of my birthday. It was a moment I had at the river to myself. I love the water, it cleanses me and restores my soul.
This is one of the several attempts to capture the fog. I am always in a hurry it seems. I ran out the door in haste this particular morning, trying to capture this patchy dense fog after I dropped off my daughter from school. Unfortunately most of it had lifted by the time I had dropped her off.
Feeling disapointed, I pulled off to gather my thoughts and turned off to a quiet road. This is the sight I was blessed with.
Thank you god for this, my path may not always be clear to me, but I know you have a plan for me.
This is without question the best sunset I have ever witnessed in Lake Guntersville. This lake is located in NE Alabama. I was blessed with this beauty that continued to change and evolve over the two hours we watched the sunset.

The lone tree at twilight, the smoke of the leaves burning floating accross to add a little extra color, paints the shades of winter we see here in Alabama. Snow is not something we have, except for on the very rare occasion. So these are our shades of winter.
