These falls are clearly visable from the road in The Smokey Mountain National Park. However, due to the lush Forest that surrounds them they can be quite mysterious. There is a pulloff on the road you travel in the Park. At the Pull off you will find a rather impressive retaining wall that holds back the river, one that runs rather swiftly. We have often contimplated just how we can hike to these falls get a better view; but so far no trail possiblities lend themselfs. So for now, they will have to remain hidden.
Like a great mystery novel waiting to be read.

Here is another shot of a buck we happened across in Cades Cove, TN. This one I was able to approach, and get within in six feet of.
Although he is standing on one side of a fence and I another, don't let that fool you, He was not domesticated and fhese fence's are just a little extra exercise for them as they leap over them with great ease.
Cades Cove is a huge Valley in The Smokey Mountain National Park set aside as a Preserve of Life and the way it was for Pioneer's of the Mountain many years ago.

Here is a lively little fella, we were lucky and saw lots of deer on our recent trip to Cades Cove, TN. This fawn had not quite lost all of it's spots.
